Week 4 - TJ
Leading up to our vertical slice, I started creating assets for the UI
I havent had as much time as I would like cause my laptop has been broken but I made the UI at the top of this screen shot.

I wanted the HUD to feel as if it was in the players view, like almost like you are seeing it from the pilots perspective, It was made see through for some gameplay considerations (so astroids can be seen through it) and to give it a more futeristic feeling. That is also why I chose this overall color palette, with the blues and teals matching the color pallete presented by the gun. With the green serving as a accent for important information.
I had to seperate it into multiple files so James could use it, The health, score, main UI and health color are all their own sprite. So James can edit and work with the UI.
I wanted to create a new sprite for the gun but havent finished it yet, the plan is to make it pretty similar to the current one but make it look more like a gun instead of an antenna. I am hopefully planning to get that done soon ! !, I also need to start work on the actual UI elements of the main menu and death screen. I need to get more work done but my laptop being broke has made that hard :[
