Week 2
Group 12 Week 2 Devlog - Each member wrote a devlog to show how we prototypes assets and new gameplay ideas. The theme was control so we all focused on different aspects of control.
Amy:
I created some art assets to use in my prototype. To show the feel of the game, and to contrast with TJ’s art to gain feedback on what kind of art style people would prefer in our game. I drew an alien from an idea that randomly there could be aliens on the asteroids and when the asteroids are destroyed these aliens will shoot off and if you hit them they’re worth extra points!

TJ:
I created a prototype menu for the game. I had a very specific idea for the menu where you would shoot asteroids with the buttons on it. So that you can teach the player how it works before they even start playing I also created my own art assets, to be able to contrast them with Amy's so we could get feedback. The theme of control inspired me to think of an intresting way to control the menu.
